River Bend Community Center (RBCC)

The River Bend Community Center (RBCC) is a private pool, tennis and social organization that has been at the center of River Bend tradition for over 50 years.

The RBCC has swim, dive and tennis teams for youth. Committees plan memorable DJ Nights, Dine & Dive Nights, tennis tournaments, leagues and clinics, Under the Stars Party, Dive-In Movie or you can simply lounge pool-side!

The RBCC committees also organize neighborhood-wide social events throughout the year such as the Spring Fling for kids, Ladies Night Out, the Fourth of July Parade & Games at the pool, Men's Night Out, the East vs. West Football Classic and the Children’s Halloween Party.  The possibilities are endless!

You don't have to live in River Bend to be a member!  You do have to be a member to attend.

2020 SEASON COVID-19 UPDATE

The  River  Bend Community  Center pool  opened   on  June  16, 2020  in  accordance  with  the St. Louis County  COVID-19  mandates.  Below are some of the highlights on how we are operating  to  ensure  the  safety  of  our  members  and  staff; while still offering the best experience possible.  Please be advised that these are the guidelines that we have been given, and whether we like them or not, we must comply:

  • We have a second lifeguard at all times to work the front desk to track all members who come to the facility in order to ensure we are not above capacity, and to monitor that everyone is following the guidelines.
  • Our new capacity has  been reduced  in  order  to  fit  people  safely  within our entire  facility. Groups must be no larger than 6 people.
  • Face masks will need to be worn when not in the pool or eating at tables.  This includes wearing them into the facility. No mask- No Enter
  • Social distancing is required so we will not have as many tables out as we have had in the past.  There  is  an  area  for  patrons   to  bring  their  own chairs.
  • Members will be expected to wipe down their chairs and tables after use, as well as after using the restrooms, to ensure the facility is kept clean.
  • We will have a 3-foot walkway that goes around the facility to enable everyone to walk in one direction as posted around the pool and clubhouse.
  • Lifeguards will have their temperatures checked at the beginning of each shift.
  • If anyone is exhibiting symptoms or has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days, they will not be able to enter the facility.
  • To ensure that all members get a chance to use the facility, members will have a two-hour time limit.  The time limit will be imposed only when members are waiting to enter the facility
  • We will limit guests to 2 non-family members to ensure other members are able to use the facility.

Although we hope some of these guidelines will be reduced as the season goes on, we need to ensure they are followed to keep the facility open.  We will provide further information as to the details around our opening.  Please e-mail RBCCMEMBERSHIP@GMAIL.COM with questions.
